When the tears of a parent wallow the schooling of their newborn foregone, humanity finds itself in a bottomless grave. 

When a community pledges its dignity and life savings for a phone on which you or I may choose to play games, it is us who are the sinful.

When a child contemplates the unthinkable, undoable step due to a lack of technology, we know that the gravest of the grave has occurred. 

 

The 21st Century is white-hot blemish over the corpse that is our humanity. When the words on a slate became a pixel on a tablet, modernity triumphed over equity. Learning Poverty across the world is an undiagnosed cancer and our generation’s to-be death certificate: the World Bank 85% children worldwide are affected from the digital divide. While the movement from desks to desktops might have been a direction out of goodwill, it is certainty something other than goodwill that allows us to live with ourselves when we allow the next wave of poverty to splash in. A lack of education is the bait for the poverty trap to engulf a gulf of poor. The Covid-19 pandemic has made a mockery of our current educational system: the one built on devices and discrimination. The indiginet, undigital medium of education has been sacrificed for a qualitatively higher but socially devolved form of education. The closing of schools is the destruction of a brighter what-could-have-been future for way too many people.

 

PeaceX finds this desolate state of affairs the silver lining for a greater transformation: a real education for all.

• Based on your preferences, a representative would contact you to ensure the proper collection of the device.

• We accept used phones, laptops, desktops, tablets, etc. ideally in working condition. Please note that we only accept the devices that are suitable to be used for online education.

• We ensure that each donated device reaches the right pair of hands.

• We guarantee the deletion of your data before the allocation of devices, make sure of transparency in the process.

• The impact generated with the help of your donated device will be shared with you at the end of academic year.

• Certificate will be given for the donation.

 

Digitalisation of education could be the renaissance of our time. But it might just be the plague that preceded the renaissance.
