About the Role:

Tenure: Two months

What you will do?

Create teaching material and high-impact academic modules.
Design topic area-specific presentations targeting middle- and high-school students.
Conduct sessions for middle- and high-school students on various subject areas.
Translate existing academic modules from English to French.
Research and collate curriculum-specific content and pedagogies.
Ascertain consistency in content structure, linguistic elements, and design language for the content you create.
Advocate for educational equity and initiatives aiming for it, including Project BookPecker.

Who are we looking for?

Pursuing/completed an undergraduate or graduate degree in any field
Be above 18 years old at the time of application
Be available for a part-time, remote opportunity.
Be available to commit at least 12-15 voluntary hours per week.
Have self-sufficient access to internet connectivity and the relevant technological infrastructure (laptop, mobile, etc).

What skills you will need?

Proficiency in English and French.
Drafting, editing, and proofreading content.
Comprehend, ideate, and teach about different topic areas.
A suitable command of word processing tools (MS Word, Google Docs, etc.) and presentation software (MS Powerpoint, Google Slides, etc.).
