Project BookPecker Haiti is an opportunity for you to boost your knowledge beyond the classroom and engage with a range of fascinating, enriching topic areas. Empower your critical thinking skills to venture into the real world with a series of invigorating sessions. We will conduct sessions on Sustainable Development, Career-building & Entrepreneurship Peace Processes & Conflict Resolution, Happiness Curriculum, Scientific Temperament Development, Comprehensive Sexuality Education by UNESCO, and more!
Organized by PeaceX Organisation (a member organisation of the United Nations Environment Programme Major Group on Children and Youth) with the Ministry of National Education of Haiti, Project BookPecker Haiti is a pro-bono, literacy initiative. The focus would be on capacity-building and experiential learning, allowing students to interact with global leaders and learn from them. The content has been curated by teachers and student volunteers from eminent institutes of the US, the UK, South Korea, etc. Volunteers from Harvard University, King’s College London, University of Cambridge, University of Delhi and other eminent educational institutions helped in content creation, and many of them will be taking the sessions during this program.
About the Sessions:

We are currently accepting applications for the first cohort of students for Project BookPecker Haiti sessions. The sessions for the first cohort would be held from 27 February to 20 March 2022.

It would be conducted free of cost. At the end of the workshop, students who take part in the program will receive a Certificate of Appreciation for their participation!
